Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă is the new President of main ruling Social Democratic Party (SDP), and has been elected at the SDP National Congress which took place in Bucharest at the Parliament Palace on 29 June.
RRA Reporter Daniela Manuţă: New leader of the SDP is Viorica Dăncilă, who has been elected with 2828 votes out of 3990. Executive President is Finance Minister Eugen Teodorovici (2463 votes), and Secretary General is former Defense Minister Mihai Fifor (2366 votes).
