The three-month ROBOR index fell to 7.96% per annum on Wednesday

The 3-month ROBOR index, according to which the cost of consumer loans in lei with variable interest is calculated, fell on Wednesday to 7.96% per annum, from 7.98% per annum a day ago, according to the data published by the National Bank of Romania.
At the beginning of this year, the 3-month ROBOR index was 3.02% per annum.
The 6-month index, used in the calculation of interest on mortgage loans in lei with variable interest, dropped to 8.15% per annum, and the 12-month ROBOR was quoted at 8.33% per annum.
