The Romanian internet users, "poorer and poorer"
Almost 30 percent of the Romanian internet users have net incomes fewer than 1,000 lei, a decreasing amount with over 12% than in 2010, shows a study made by the online platform TradeAds.

The internet users from Romania are poorer and poorer.
According to a study realized by the online platform TradeAds, almost 30 percent of the interviewed internet users have net incomes fewer than 1000 lei, manifest an increasingly higher interest regarding technology and education and use internet for documentaries, socialization and for reading press.
The number of those who declare net incomes fewer than 1,000 lei has increased, compared to the beginning of last year, with 2 percent , and compared to 2010, with over 12 percent.
On the other hand, the number of those who have incomes of over 5,000 lei per month remains unchanged compared to last years, in this situation being a little over 10 percent of the internet users.

According to the study, the Romanian internet user’s need of information has increased, as compensation to the hostile economical climate, so that the internet users have become more sensitive at social stimuli and more interested in culture and art.
A spectacular increase is observed also regarding the social networks access, with over 12 percent than last year.
According to the “Internet user’s profile” study, the electronic commerce is expected to get large within the following years, given that in 2012, the number of those who buy and sell online products has increased with almost 30 percent than the same period of last year.

When it comes to access the internet, Romanian people prefer smart phones.
The connection on mobile devices like smart phone records a spectacular evolution, having a rate of 15,2 percent, compared to only 9 percent in 2011.
The study was realized within the period 16 February –23 February 2012 by the research department of TradeAds Interactive, based on a questionnaire, applied online, on a sample composed by 3314 respondents and it shows what are the Romanians’ behaviors regarding internet usage.
