The current PSD-PNL coalition no longer exists from a political point of view, the only discussions between the two parties being only of a technical and governmental nature, said on Thursday, October 3, the first deputy chairman of PNL, Rares Bogdan. He added that there will be no political decisions in the coalition until the elections.
"President Nicolae Ciuca, myself, Dan Motreanu, /Gheorghe/ Flutur, will no longer participate in any kind of meeting of the governing coalition, no matter what the topic is. On other issues related to direct administrative matters in various fields, PNL will not leave Romania ungoverned and will send the best specialists to discuss. Politically, on the other hand, we have nothing to talk about with the Social-Democratic Party", says Rares Bogdan.
In recent days, Social Democrat leader Marcel Ciolacu has denied that there is any scandal in the governing coalition and emphasized that PSD and PNL will see their mandate through to the end.
He explained that, at the moment, there are two parties running separately, and who will lead the country in the future will be decided by the people's vote.
