Four more deaths caused by COVID-19 were announced in Romania this afternoon, raising the balance-sheet of the day to seven, lower than yesterday, and the total to 1.266.
The latest victims were aged between 69 and 84 years old. They were from Suceava and Iasi counties, and they also suffered from other diseases.
Today we have the lowest number of new cases, in 24 hours, since the beginning of the pandemic - 124, and also the lowest number of patients in intensive care - 160.
The Minister of Health, Nelu Tataru, says that we are on a downward slope and we can expect more restrictions being removed starting June 15.
