The heat wave will continue to dominate Romania until Sunday at least. Maximum temperatures will be between 37 and 40 degrees Celsius, and at night will not fall below 20 degrees.
33 counties of Romania and Bucharest are until Sunday under orange and yellow code of heat and thermal discomfort, phenomena that will alternate with periods of atmospheric instability. Another 11 counties have been warned with a yellow storm code.
