During 13-19 October, there will be 19 such major events in Bucharest and other cities in Romania.

Romania has participated in the First-Ever International E-Waste Day, organized for the first time on 13 October, to promote the proper disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) around the world, ultimately leading to an increase in reuse and recycling rates.
Campaign was initiated and developed by the WEEE Forum, an international association of e-waste collection schemes, supported by the Romanian Association for Recycling - RoRec, which together with its partners, place Romania on the map of participating countries in the International E-Waste Day through a series of educational and collection actions in schools and cities.
During 13-19 October, there will be 19 such major events in Bucharest, Timişoara, Galaţi, Ploieşti, Arad, Piteşti, Bacău, Sibiu, Baia Mare, Satu Mare, Târgu Jiu, Bistriţa, Alba Iulia, Călăraşi, Zalău, Giurgiu, Alexandria, Odorheiu Secuiesc and Sinaia.
