Romania hands over leadership of EU Council on Health component

Romania has handed over to Finland leadership of EU Council on Health component. Event took place in Luxembourg, where Romanian Health Minister said that all priorities of the Romanian Presidency on Health have addressed current issues with the aim of improving the quality of patient care services throughout the European Union.

According to a press release, EU Health Council also adopted, on Friday, conclusions on combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR), proposed by the Romanian EU Council Presidency and unanimously supported by respective Ministers of EU Member States.
