Articol de Radio România Cultural, 08 Aprilie 2022, 17:36
Radio Romania Cultural offers listeners, on Saturday, April 9, a 9-hour reading marathon that aims to make people understand the history from Stalin to the days of the current conflict in Ukraine. The Red Empire Saturday Marathon, held in partnership with the Corinth Publishing House, begins with the establishment of communism and will continue with reference points from Russia's past - the battle of Stalingrad, the rise of Vladimir Putin and the opposition of Alexei Navalny, to Crimea and the new Russian Empire.
"History, and not the one taught in school, has become a necessity for understanding the turbulent times we live in, especially since everything that happens today seems to have a correspondent in previous decades. I recommend this marathon especially to young people whose future may depend on the historical abscess we are all witnessing", said Radu Croitoru, manager of Radio Romania Cultural.
The producers of Radio Romania Cultural will read, on Saturday, April 9, excerpts from a series of books published in the Corinth History collection.
Red Empire Saturday will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. The entire program of the marathon made by Radio Romania Cultural, in partnership with Corint Publishing House, is as follows:
