Approximately 2.000 employees of the Ambulance Services from all over the country are protesting today, in Bucharest, in front of the Parliament, and at the headquarters of the Ambulance Services from each county.
People are dissatisfied that they did not receive the promised medicine to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, and the representatives of the National Union Federation "Ambulance" in Romania say that certain legislative projects concerning employees in the field have not been submitted to the Legislature for approval in years.
According to RRA reporter, Adriana Turea, the protesters are dressed in work equipment, wearing a protest vest and hat, gloves, and masks or visors. The protest in front of the Parliament is not authorized by the Capital City Hall, the president of the "Ambulance" Federation, Gheorghe Chis, specified.
