DNA Prosecutor Anca Jurma has been nominated to take over the leadership of the Romanian National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) until a new Chief Prosecutor will be appointed, after Laura Codruta Koveşi's revocation.
Office of the General Prosecutor Augustin Lazăr has issued a press release on Monday, delivering Prosecutor General’s message of confidence regarding the firm continuation of the anti-corruption activity, which is a priority of the Public Ministry in fulfilling its constitutional role.
Anca Jurma has served as Chief Prosecutor of the International Co-operation Service and Programs of the National Anti-Corruption Directorate, for two terms, and was later appointed as Advisor to DNA’s Chief Prosecutor, according to the press release.
