Party leaderships have, on Monday, weekly meetings where they put up lists of candidates for the parliamentary elections on December the 9th.
From the information received from Radio Romania Actualitati reporters, until October the 20th those should be completed.
Social Liberal parties composing the Union have proposed that, until October the 15th to complete their applications, because, on October the 17th, to be officially launched in the race for parliamentary elections.
Within the power camp, the two alliances that compose USL share their places according to the principle of parity, as happened at the local voting.
Sure is the fact that lawmakers, who already have mandate, retain their colleges.
Within the center-left coalition made up of PSD and UNPR, things are clear, not sharing discussion on boards or applications.
Instead, PNL and PC try to find compromise solutions for some colleges.
One example is the Senatorial College 2 of District 1, which was ceded by PNL Bucharest to the Conservative Party.
Meanwhile, the former Prime Minister Tariceanu was nominated by the permanent delegation Sector 1 branch to run there, but the conservatives want in return an eligible college, also in the capital.
PNL has also to clarify the situation of parliamentarians come and that have not the age of two years required by statute in order to candidate.
Right-wing parties try to regroup around PDL
On the other side of the political spectrum, right-wing parties try to regroup around PDL.
So far, it is known that PDL will have the most applications, other parties in the alliance - respectively PNŢCD, The Civic Force and The New Republic - will have more than 60 candidates.
PDL leader, Vasile Blaga, stated Monday that he will propose to the party leadership the convening of Board Directors, on Thursday, to approve the lists of candidates for parliamentary elections.
All the alliance candidates will pass through the Ethics Commission filter.
This committee does not want to let run politicians that can be accused of political transits or outlaws.
Former partners of PDL government, people from UDMR, go alone in the electoral competition.
The Union candidates are appointed on the basis of internal elections.
Union leaders have proposed that, until Thursday, to finalize the lists for Transylvania and the remaining candidates until October the 20th.
