Nicolae Ciuca: The Family Start program will be approved by the Government

Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca sent a message today, on International Family Day and Romanian Family Day, in which he expressed his respect for the families in Romania and gives assurances that the government will provide them with all the support they need.
He mentioned that the executive pays special attention to vulnerable families at risk. The "Family Start" program will soon be approved at the government meeting.
The document proposed by the government provides for the possibility of obtaining a loan of up to 75.000 lei, guaranteed in proportion of 80% by the state, the money being intended for people aged between 18 and 45 who start a family and have a net income of up to 7.500 lei per month.
The credit can be used to pay for nursery, kindergarten, school, after school, university tuition fees, including doctoral fees, rent or down payment, purchase of family cars, wedding arrangements, and of a baptism.
Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca also announced that the action plan for the national establishment of the "Guarantee for Children" program will be finalized, a program financed with European funds meant to help disadvantaged minors and which also includes a chapter dedicated to measures for Ukrainian children in Romania.
The Prime Minister announced that the Romanian Government is also working on a draft law to prevent the separation of the child from the family, but also on the implementation of the programs assumed in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
