Canoe Polo is a sport almost unknown to Romanians, but it has been practiced since 1970 in Western countries, where European and world championships are organized. The most valuable national teams in the world are the Netherlands, France and Australia (men), and Germany and the UK (women).
Canoe Polo has great chances to be introduced into the Olympic program.
