Continental A.G., a leading German automotive component manufacturer, is expanding its investment in Sibiu.
According to a press release, 1,000 new jobs will be created over the next four years by expanding the Center for Research and Development in the City of Sibiu.
More than 3,800 employees are currently working at Continental, the largest employer in Sibiu, according to RRA correspondent Carmen Vulcan.
Among the products that are being developed, tested and manufactured in Sibiu are intelligent steer and brake assistance systems or the accelerator pedal that limits the speed at obstacle detection.
