Exercises with armored technique in the Sfantu Gheorghe range, Covasna county

Starting Monday, soldiers of the Romanian Land Forces are carrying out tactical exercises with armored vehicles in the Sfantu Gheorghe range, Covasna County.
Soldiers from units in Baia Mare, Vatra-Dornei and Brad are taking part, Major Andrei Hosu, commander of the 22nd Battalion of Mountain Hunters "Ciresoaia", told Radio Romania Targu Mures.
Andrei Hosu: In the week of March 10-15, the 813th Infantry Battalion from Baia Mare, the 17th Mountain Hunters Battalion from Vatra Dornei and the 26th Mountain Research-Surveillance Battalion from Brad, which will be deployed by air, will be training in the Pais training range. The others will deploy by land routes. The purpose of their meeting at the polygon is to train each other on their respective specialties, research, mountain hunters and infantry activities, /.../ armored technical.
The authorities warn the citizens that from Monday, near Sfantu Gheorghe municipality, aircraft belonging to the Air Force will carry out training flights, and some of the forces participating in the exercises will use training ammunition.
Over the past two years, several training exercises have been held in Covasna county, with the participation of both ground and air troops from military structures of the Ministry of Defense, as well as soldiers from NATO troops deployed in Romania, Radio Romania Targu-Mures reports.
