EC President, message 35 years after the Revolution: Romania and Europe remember their sacrifice

The 35th anniversary of the Romanian Revolution was commemorated by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
She wrote a message on the X network on Sunday recalling the moment when Romanians stood up for the right to choose their own destiny.
"Many gave their lives so that their children could be free and live in a democracy", the Brussels chief executive noted.
"Today, Romania and Europe remember their sacrifice", concluded Ursula von der Leyen.
