Demonstrations in Alba Iulia aimed at marking the 105th anniversary of the Great Union

RADOR RADIO ROMANIA - Under the banner "Festival of Romania", the authorities in Alba Iulia have prepared a series of events intended to mark the 105th anniversary of the Great Union.
Among the events organized on this occasion are book launches, exhibitions, conferences, open-air concerts and a military parade, as reported by RRA correspondent Andreea Bogdan: "The agenda of events is particularly rich starting Thursday, November 30, when in addition to the moments of laying wreaths at the important statues in the city, the workshops of traditional Romanian crafts will also open and the "Traditional Romania" Festival will begin. On December 1, in Alba Iulia, according to tradition, at 11:00 a.m. at Sala Unirii, the reception of messages from the seat cities will take place, and at 1:00 p.m. the resolution of the National Assembly in Alba Iulia will be read. The military parade is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. This will be followed by an extraordinary folklore show. There will also be two fireworks shows, one during the day and one in the evening. The celebration will continue on December 2 in Alba Iulia, when Domino, Subcarpati and the group Iza will perform in Alba Carolina Citadel Square.
