Dacia Sandero, the most sold car "low cost" in Spain
With nearly 1,700 cars sold, Dacia is in first place, surpassing models like the Renault Mégane, the Citroën Xsara or the Seat Ibiza.

Due to the crisis, the low-cost machines have become the first choice for the Spaniards who want a new car.
Price-quality ratio, as well as a government program that subsidizes the purchase of new machines, have brought Dacia Sandero on the top in January 2013, in Spain.
Marketed at a price of 4,700 euros, the Sandero model has become a success on the Spanish market.
With nearly 1,700 cars sold, Dacia is thus first place, surpassing models like the Renault Mégane, the Citroën Xsara or the Seat Ibiza.
Moreover, sales of the Dacia Sandero were 177.4% higher than in January, according to data provided by the manufacturers associations, representation and sellers of cars.
Slight increase in sales of automobiles
Spanish press highlights low acquisition cost of the car manufactured in Romania: 4700 euro car with standard, with the 2000 euros in aid to the Government included in the price.
Cinco Días economic portal and daily newspaper El País noted that Dacia Renault has been the firm bet since the mid 1990s, in order to earning the cheap cars.
The first pattern, reminiscent of the Spanish press was Logan, Sandero and Duster, which are manufactured and sold in South America, as well.
After Sandero, runner-up in the top is the Nissan Qashqai, 1.578 registrations (19.500 euro cost), followed by the Renault Megane, leader in 2012, Seat León, Seat and Citroen C4.
About 70 percent of the cars sold in Spain in January have diesel engine, while hybrids and electrics have reached 2.4 percent of the market.
Associations authorities emphasized that the subsidy plan for the car sector helps to change trends on the market and a slight increase in sales, after time for many years, this area has seen huge losses, destroyed jobs and brought the closure of 40 thousands of SMEs.
