ANAF will have access to all Romanian accounts starting Monday, January 11.
According to an ordinance issued last summer, ANAF thus begins the operationalization of the Electronic Fiscal Register for bank accounts and payment accounts identified through IBAN.
Banks and institutions that have financial accounts for companies and individuals are required to send to the Tax Office all financial information related to the movement of accounts of individuals and companies.
Romania transposes through this register a European directive for preventing and combating money laundering.
