A representative of the Russian embassy, declared persona non grata

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that a representative of the Russian Embassy in Bucharest has been declared persona non grata on the territory of Romania.
The decision was motivated by "the incompatibility of the activities of the representative in question with the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961".
The embassy representative has already left Romania, our editor Oana Bala transmitted.
