A new yellow code of snow shall take effect on Tuesday

The warning is valid during the period Tuesday, 12.00 - Wednesday 12.00. Snow will be more consistent in the early hours of this interval in Banat and Oltenia.

The National Meteorological Administration issued a new yellow code warning of snow and blizzard valid starting Tuesday at 12.00.

Snow will be more consistent in the early hours of the interval in Banat and Oltenia, and then in Muntenia and Moldova.

In Dobrogea, precipitation will be mixed, favoring the production of ice.

Local rainfall will exceed 15 ... 20 l / m and isolated in Southeast 25 ... 30 l / m.

The wind will intensify, especially in the evening and night, temporarily exceeding 50-60 km / h, spreading the snow.

There will be significant amounts of snow and blizzards in Arges, Dâmboviţa, Prahova, Buzau, Braila, Galati, Teleorman, Giurgiu, Calarasi, Ilfov, Ialomita.

At mid-week in Bucharest will be recorded on the night temperatures to minus 20 degrees Celsius.

During today, the weather will cool down, says NMA.

Maximum temperatures will be between -6 and 4 degrees.

At 11.00 o’clock the yellow code alert for snow mountain expired, the eastern and south-eastern Transylvania, most of Wallachia and Moldavia and Oltenia southeast.
