Voucher for victims of serious sex crimes

The first voucher to support victims of crime has been approved, announced Justice Minister Alina Gorghiu in a social media post.
It concerns the victim of serious sexual crimes, who has received an advance of the total amount of more than 18.000 lei provided by law to cover urgent needs such as accommodation, food, transportation and medication.
To get the money, people in this situation must apply to the court of their place of residence.
There are 300 vouchers available this year, which may be increased if necessary.
