The vaccination of the general population in the third stage of the immunization campaign in Romania starts tomorrow. The waiting lists for the vaccination appointments will also become available tomorrow. Cristian Nita with details:
Reporter: For now, vaccinations will take place in cities where the incidence of COVID cases is higher than 4.5 per thousand inhabitants. Among these localities are Brasov and Timisoara.
There were approximately 33.600 spots available. Of these, about 28.800 were occupied by people belonging exclusively to the third stage.
People from the second stage (those over 65 and key workers) who have not been immunized can continue to be scheduled and will have priority on the lists.
As of tomorrow, waiting lists for vaccination appointments will also be available.
Once the general schedule is available, the existing vaccination centers will be visible on the platform, as well as those that will become operational next month.
Waiting lists will be activated after the places available in the vaccination centers are exhausted.
Thus, when spots become available in a vaccination center, they are offered only to people on its waiting list.
People who want to make a vaccination appointment must register on the vaccinare-covid.gov.ro platform or they can schedule directly at the phone number 021.414.44.25.
