USR will run on its own lists in the next elections

Save Romania Union will run on its own lists in the next elections.

The party's leader, Elena Lasconi, explained on Friday that talks with the other right-wing parties, held by a USR team with a view to forming an alliance for the presidential and parliamentary elections, did not yield results because their demands were unreasonable and impractical.

Also on Friday, the UDMR officially announced its candidate for the presidential elections in the person of its leader Kelemen Hunor. The decision was taken by the Council of Union Representatives meeting in Cluj-Napoca.
