Epicenter of the UNTOLD Festival is the Cluj Arena Stadium, now filled with tens of thousands of people. Tourists from 75 countries, including New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina and Canada, are expected at the event.
There are also other nine stages where UNTOLD invited artists are performing until August 5.
UNTOLD Festival is a huge EDM-centric music festival in Romania, now one of the most famous dance music festivals in Europe.
Showcasing a superstar lineup every summer, Untold attracts dance fans from across the continent, drawn in by the big names and the even bigger production.
Although its main stage (inside the 30,000 seater Cluj Arena stadium) may be dominated by EDM, UNTOLD's lineup also covers other areas of electronic music, such as techno and drum and bass, usually showcased in some of Cluj's more intimate spaces, including its woodland Forest Stage.
Theme for this year's edition is Wolf Spirit, so expect all kinds of production and costumes feeding into that theme.
Those attending UNTOLD can use festival wristbands as an access pass to visit over 70 tourist sites in Romania, for free or at a discounted price – as part of “Romania, all inclusive” campaign, in partnership with the Romanian mInistry of Tourism.
This year, some of the concerts can be watched live on the UNTOLD YouTube channel.
Over 1,100 gendarmes, firemen, policemen and medical staff will ensure safety.
