The Senate has approved the methodology for reorganizing the work of the institution's specialized staff. The vacant posts will be filled by means of a selection examination, based on criteria established in accordance with the requirements of the respective job description - says the interim President of the Senate, Liberal Mircea Abrudean.

"The methodology has been approved, in the next meeting of the Permanent Bureau or in two weeks at the latest we will also approve the job description, after which the 60-day deadline for organizing the competitions will start. Nobody wants anything but transparency and fairness in this reorganization process, so that professionals remain in this institution, because there are very good professionals here, without whom the Senate cannot function", said Mircea Abrudean.

Over 400 posts in the Senate and Chamber of Deputies will be abolished. The move aims to streamline work and cut costs.
