RADIO ROMANIA NEWS (November 30, 1:05 p.m.) - Producer: The meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Bucharest comes to an end. The heads of diplomacy from Sweden and Finland, countries invited to join the North Atlantic Alliance, participated in the last discussion session. They were joined by the representatives of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova.
Reporter: Amalia Bojescu (live) - Good day! Today, the discussions focused on the cooperation between allies and partner states Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia-Herzegovina. The head of NATO said that over the years the Alliance has offered support to the three partners, including for capacity building, reforms and strengthening of defense and security institutions. A separate discussion was with Sweden and Finland, from the perspective of the two countries' accession to the Euro-Atlantic space, showing the Alliance's openness to welcome new members as soon as possible.
The NATO foreign ministers adopted a joint statement affirming the defensive nature of the Alliance, emphasizing that any attack on any ally will receive a united and determined response. Ministers also pledged to step up support for Ukraine.
