The Minister of Research, Sebastian Burduja, launched, in Constanta, the "Henri Coanda" Program, intended for international Olympians.
Through this program, scholarships and prizes will be awarded to Romanian pupils and students who participate and win prizes in external competitions.
The teams participating in these contests will also have the opportunity to access up to 100.000 lei for travel financing.
Sebastian Burduja: Through the "Henri Coanda" Program that we are launching, we have, on the one hand, the Henri Coanda scholarships and, on the other hand, the Henri Coanda awards. The platform is available on our website research.gov.ro. and we invite all young people to access these tools and tell us if they are in such a situation, if they have won the right to represent, if they have won an award. We will do an evaluation and award scholarships and prizes. The total budget of the program is currently 3 million lei: one and a half million for scholarships, one and a half million for prizes; but it can be supplemented depending on the results that will be obtained.
