The Days of Armenian Culture are celebrated this weekend in Constanta and Bucharest

The Armenian Community of Romania is organizing in Constanta and Bucharest, between October 20 and 22, the 18th edition of the "Days of Armenian Culture" event, which will bring together representatives of the community, from the country and abroad, reports Agerpres.
According to a press release sent by the organizers, this year's edition will be held under the aegis of "In memoriam Nicolas Trifon - a landmark of Armenian culture", and the activities included in the program aim to contribute to a better visibility of specific values and traditions, promoting intercultural dialogue and openness to other cultures.
The official opening will take place on Friday, October 20, at 7 p.m., at the Oleg Danovski National Theater of Opera and Ballet, with the audience being able to listen to traditional/traditionally inspired songs and watch the play La Cashari, staged by representatives of the Association Armenians from Veria (Greece).
On Saturday, October 21, the event will continue at the Constanta Art Museum with a mini-concert by the pianist Iulian Ionut Abagiu (Madrid, Spain) and with a symposium that will address, through distinguished guests, topics of interest to the Armenian community.
On Sunday, October 22, the activities will take place in Bucharest. In the first part of the day, a symposium is scheduled, at the headquarters of the Aromanian Cultural Society, which includes, among others, the masterclass of Professor Thede Kahl (Vienna, Austria), with the theme "Protecting endangered languages with the help of digital technology/tools".
Later, from 6 p.m., a new performance with the play La Cashari will take place on the stage of the State Jewish Theater.
