Romania's natioal airline Tarom will introduce, starting September 6, two weekly flights Bucharest - Baia Mare (to and return), and from November they will become daily - Maramures County Council President Gabriel Zetea announced.
Gabriel Zelea said that after resumption of internal flights, external flights will also be restored, and investments in the airport infrastructure will continue.
Maramures International Airport was closed in 2016 for modernization works and was reopened this year at the end of June, Agerpres recalls.
