Sibiu is the first city in Romania to enter the atmosphere of the winter holidays.
Christmas Fair in Sibiu will be opened tonight in the Great Square in the historical center of the city. This is considered one of the most beautiful events of the kind in Romania.
The Fair will have a record number of wooden cottages, over 100, and every night, on all the buildings around the Medieval Market, there will be projections with winter pictures.
During the Christmas Market, there will also be a sightseeing train which will take tourists on the most beautiful streets in the historical center of Sibiu.
The Christmas Fair in Sibiu, now at its XIth edition, has become a true tourist brand.
Almost all the hotels and hostels in the city are already booked for all the weekends until after the New Year. The Christmas Market will close on January 3rd.
