Romania will send new doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Republic of Moldova

Romania will send new doses of anti-COVID vaccine to the Republic of Moldova in the next period of time, Prime Minister Florin Citu announced.
The statement was made yesterday, after the government in Bucharest sent to Chisinau a second transport of vaccines, consisting of over 50.000 doses of AstraZeneca. It is a helping hand that comes in support of the Republic of Moldova, in the effort of this country to limit the dramatic effects of the pandemic and to control the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the head of the Romanian executive mentioned. On February 27, another 21.600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were given by Romania to the Republic of Moldova.
