Romania took first place among nations at the Informatics Olympiad of Central European countries, which took place in Germany.
According to the Ministry of Education, first place and gold medals were obtained by student Luca Perju-Verzotti from the "Tudor Vianu" National College of Informatics in Bucharest.
Gold, silver and bronze medals were also obtained by three students from the "Aurel Vlaicu" Theoretical High School in Orastie and the International Theoretical High School of Informatics from Bucharest.
