Romania's National Day will be marked on Tuesday, in Bucharest, by an official ceremony without public, attended by approximately 150 soldiers.
From 11:00, in the Arc de Triomphe Square in the capital, there will be a moment of silence in memory of the Romanian heroes who fell on the battlefields for the reunification of the nation and for the victims of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
21 cannon salutes will be fired, and President Klaus Iohannis will lay a wreath and deliver a speech.
The event will not be open to the public and will take place in strict compliance with the legal provisions regarding the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
