Romania eliminates special pensions for magistrates and top public servants

Special pensions for Romanian magistrates and top public servants are to be eliminated, according to a draft law that has been adopted, on 28 January, by the Romanian Chamber of Deputies. Exception are the military, police, prison staff and special service employees.
Law must now be promulgated by President Klaus Iohannis and published in the Official Gazette.
