Romania's Pavilion at the Astana EXPO 2017 World Fair (Kazakhstan) attracts great interest of visitors and delegates from other participating countries.
The main topic of EXPO 2017 is “Energy of the Future”, and Romania’s slogan is ”Energy of Light”, because the Romanian delegation presents the high power laser from Măgurele.
Over the last 50 years, this has been the biggest project in Romania in the field of Research. The Romanian specialists hope to attract as many scientists with an interest to collaborate.
This is the way to promote inventive and innovative Romania, says Mihail Dediu, Commissioner for the Expo Astana 2017 Romanian Section.
Mihail Dediu: Each country has creatively developed its concept of presentation, in line with the general themes, namely the "Energy of the Future". EXPO 2017 Astana discusses reducing carbon dioxide emissions, increasing energy efficiency and access to advanced power generation. Romania's pavilion focuses on the "Energy of Light", which is a breakthrough in the field of Romanian Research and Innovation. We want to present Romania as a country of inventions, innovations, an important actor, if you will, with a significant contribution in identifying ingenious and efficient energy use for intelligent development.
Romania's Pavilion at the World Exhibition in Astana is 370 square meters. The World Exhibition in Astana - the capital of Kazakhstan, where more than 100 countries are represented - is open until September.
