Hundreds of revolutionaries in Bucharest and other cities protested Monday against the Government, complaining that their payment of compensation was stopped.

They say that after this measure, many revolutionaries were left without any means of livelihood.

Although the organizers demanded the protest authorization for 150 people, at the government came about 600 people.

Thus, the protesters have not been reached on the sidewalk and the road, occupying the first lane on the boulevard Iancu de Hunedoara.

Secretary of State for revolutionaries, Victor Socaciu, said that the government has formed a new team two months analyzing all revolutionaries’ files to track those who have received compensation without this right.

"I identified with this new team around 6,300 such certificates, but things will not stop here, because, going step by step further, I found nearly ten thousand certificates that do not meet legal conditions to be released.

"In this context, probably in a few months, also with a new procedure for cancellation to be created, we can speak of a reinstatement payment of those revolutionaries who deserve," says Victor Socaciu.

Some protesters in front of the Government declared that the protest continues also in University Square and that they will resume the protests on Tuesday from 10:00 am in front of the government.
