The graduates of technical profile schools find a job more easily
No matter the domain, the practicing hours place them, in the case of a contest, in front of those who graduated a theoretical profile school and this happened because they had technological practice, broadcasts the Radio România Actualităţi correspondent, Mihaela Buculei.
Those who were practising students, are presently employees of the companies in which they made their practice and some of them have also the perspective to develop their own business.
For instance, within the fashion design domain, a young woman who during the high school has learned to cleave, to sew and to present a fashion model can easily find in this moment a job into a tailoring workshop or, why not, into a fashion house.
For boys, the offer is usually diversified, but most of them orientate to jobs as mechanic, tinsmith or electrician.
Most of the graduates of a high school with this kind of profile have worked in auto-services or in various companies, they have the production experience and at the end of their high school study they are more easily employed.
Many young people come to agricultural studies while “rejected by other faculties”
Many young people assign for faculties with agricultural profile because they were rejected by other education structures, not because they want to work within this domain, declared Friday the Agricultural Minister, Stelian Fuia, at the Mediafax talks about Agriculture seminar.
“Nowadays, in the agricultural education come many people who do not go to other faculties and do not have a direct relation with the rural environment. And after they graduate the university , they have a diploma degree and they look for a job somewhere in the city”, affirmed Stelian Fuia.
The Agriculture Minister showed that the rural population is “in decline” and it is necessary that the young people be guided to develop businesses in agriculture.
“This is another priority of the ministry –youth bringing in the rural environment. An important role in the agriculture development on sustainable bases is represented by the agricultural education development”, also declared Stelian Fuia.

The apprenticeship law
In December 2011, the government has approved the draft regarding the modification of the apprenticeship law at the working place.
Through the apprenticeship contract, young people can obtain a working place with duration between one year and three years.
The testing period at which the apprentice can be subjected cannot be longer than 30 days.
The employer has to assure to the apprentice a theoretic and practical training or, sometimes only the practical training.
At the end of collaboration, the employer is obliged to sign up the apprentice at an Authorized Center of Evaluation and Certification of Professional Competences, from where the apprentice receives a certificate.
All the evaluation costs are supported by the employer.
The duration of the apprenticeship contract at the working place is established function of the occupation/qualification for which the apprentice has to prepare and the abilities previously gained by him.
The contract lasts 12 months in the case where the apprenticeship is organized in order to gain a first level qualification, 24 months for the second level and 36 for the third level.
The monthly base salary established within the apprenticeship contract at the working place is at least equal with the minimum gross salary per country, respectively 700 RON (for 2012).
