PNL President Crin Antonescu stated that a PNL-PC-PSD alliance might come true in the first half of February, if the parties respond positively to the negotiated solutions.
Interviewed by Radio Romania Actualităţi , Crin Antonescu specified that the gates of the alliance are open, a special interest being shown in attracting DAHR.
"The new alliance must have a national project meant to apply the necessary measures for the revival of our economy".
"We need practical solutions, not doctrinaire theories", Crin Antonescu pointed out, referring to the different standpoints adopted by PSD and PNL regarding VAT or progressive taxation.
The PNL leader also said that the alliance will join the race for presidency in the next election, with a sole candidate, nominated according to the polls conducted at that time.
Regarding the alliance’s programme for emergence from the economic crisis, Crin Antonescu affirms that fiscal measures of economic revival will be applied, independent of the doctrinaire theories of each party.
