At Dacia Mioveni plant, in Arges, there is today a new round of negotiations on the collective agreement between the union and employers from Dacia.
So far, after 15 bargaining sessions, the two sides have not reached an agreement on salary increases this year.
According to a release, the administration proposed a wage increase that would mean an increase of 9 percent.
The unions have called, though, for a larger increase, plus various bonuses and additional holidays.
The company representatives said that the unions’ request would mean a revenue growth of approximately 40 percent.
The negotiations for a new collective agreement for the approximately 16,000 employees of Dacia began on February the 20th and the validity of the old agreement expired on April the 6th.
The unions say there is a written agreement for negotiations to continue until April the 20th.
During the negotiations, nearly two days, on March the 20th and the 21st, a part of Dacia employees have stopped the work, complaining by the leadership offer, which, however, points out that they might consider moving some of the production plant in Morocco, if the expenses in Romania will get too high.
