Employers will no longer be on the road all day long submitting various documents to the tax administrations.
The measure, adopted by the executive last year, would reduce tax bureaucracy.
‘We have reduced the number of declarations that needed to be submitted. We are referring to five declarations here: two for NAFA, for tax liabilities, and one for each insurance house, which included nominal records of the insured,’ declared the Vice President of the National Tax Administration Agency – NAFA, Mihai Gogancea Vătăşoiu.
The number of declarations has been reduced from five to only one.
‘A single competent authority has been established to receive the declaration, so that instead of doing four trips to submit four different declarations, the taxpayers will submit a single declaration at NAFA, saving time and money’, adds Mihai Gogancea Vătăşoiu.
The declaration will be submitted only by the employer or by persons designated by the employers. It does not have any impact, if you will, on the employees.
‘The number of taxpayers present at the counters is being reduced and so is the number of trips that they would have to make. We have allowed a transitional period until July 1st, 2011 in which the declaration may also be filed in paper form, signed and stamped, obviously, with an electronic duplicate, and it is important to note that from mid 2011 it will only be submitted in electronic format, remotely, which will simplify even more the tasks of taxpayers. Also, material resources are being saved, primarily paper,’ said Mihai Gogancea Vătăşoiu, Vice President of the National Tax Administration Agency.
