The IAR Puma Naval helicopter aboard the frigate helped detect and identify suspicious ships.
The "Sea Guardian" operation was attended by ships, aircraft and submarines from Romania, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Germany, and the missions carried out contributed to strengthening security on the southern flank of Europe.
