First Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, voiced "growing concern" on "latest developments" in matters related to Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM) for Romania, during meeting on Wednesday in Brussels with Romanian Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă. 'Urgent progress is needed in the coming weeks on all issues of concern', Timmermans said.

Frans Timmermans also said that 'urgent progress is needed in the coming weeks on all issues of concern'.
"The two have decided that experts in Romania and the European Commission will meet next week to discuss the issues in question", EC spokesperson said.
