RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Five more Romanian students on scholarship in Turkey, in the city of Kayseri, requested repatriation to the country, after today's earthquakes. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the five are part of a group of nine students whose families requested information from the Romanian Embassy in Ankara. Kayseri is in an area where there is no significant material damage and, according to diplomacy from Bucharest, the condition of the nine is good. At the same time, the Romanian Embassy received notifications about a Romanian woman, mother of four children, who it learned is safe, but also about a Romanian in a penitentiary in Turkey. The necessary steps are being taken to obtain information related to his situation. Up to this moment, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from Bucharest, there have been no reports from the Turkish authorities regarding possible Romanians affected by the earthquakes. In the morning, nine students and a coordinating teacher requested support to return to the country. They were staying in the town of Kahramanmaras.
