European Commission Delegation in Romania for new CVM evaluation

European Commission has sent a Delegation to Bucharest on a new assessment mission to evaluate Romania in reference to the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM).

For three days as of today, European Commission's Delegation will track the way amendments to the laws of justice and to the criminal codes impact the Romanian judicial system.

A document with Romania’s progress on the matter has already been drawn up and authorities are prepared, Justice Minister Tudorel Toader said on Monday morning.
