The first anti-COVID-19 vaccines for children aged 5 to 11 are expected in Romania next week.
This is a batch of 114.000 pediatric doses, which contains one-third of the amount of serum used by adults and teenagers.
Vaccination will start on January 26.
Appointments on the online platform can already be made at over 200 centers available nationwide.
Family physicians can also enroll in this age group for vaccine administration.
The Ministry of Health published on the institution's website - ms.ro - an informative material with the doctors' answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding the vaccination of children.
