First bilateral Cooperation Agreement between Radio Romania and Radio RAI has been signed in Rome on 8 March.

Agreement, which provides for exchange and acquisition of radio programs, cooperation in vocational training, participation in festivals, exhibitions and cultural events, was signed by President-Director General of the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Society, Georgica Severin and RAI General Manager, Fabrizio Salini, in the presence of RAI President Marcello Foa.

According to Radio Romania President-Director General, Radio RAI expressed interest in developing programs for the Romanian community in Italy. With more than one million people, Romanians are Italy's largest ethnic minority.

Before Agreement with Radio RAI, Radio Romania signed an Agreement Radio France in December 2018 and is currently in an advanced stage of negotiations with the BBC.
