Controllers will be present on all RATB lines

The pilot project, initiated by RATB since July, on express lines 780 and 783, involving the presence of a representative utility control body in every vehicle for every two lines, has enjoyed a great success as well as the appreciation of travelers that use these routes, it said in a RATB statement.

By implementing new procedures to monitor the control activity and the creation of new conditions of civilized transport, the urban transport of passengers is trying to improve the services.

It is followed that the traveling public to be aware of the importance of transport service payments as well as the validation of travel titles, including subscriptions.

Into the release it is also said that, due to application of new monitoring method of control, fraudulent travel on these lines have been removed and validation were significantly increased.

The project was extended also on the line 254 and, in the following period, it will be implemented on all public transport lines of urban transport.
