Bogdan Aurescu: The logistic support offered by our country to Ukraine will play a relevant role

"The organization in Bucharest of the meeting of foreign ministers from NATO member countries is a recognition of the role that Romania has within the Alliance", says the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu.

He also said that the logistical support offered by Romania to Ukraine will play a relevant role when the issue of the reconstruction of the country arises.

At the same time, this support increased Romania's profile and role at international level, Bogdan Aurescu believes.

Bogdan Aurescu: The organization of this meeting a few hundred kilometers from the front line in Ukraine has the significance of the solidarity of the North Atlantic Alliance, solidarity on the part of Romania for Ukraine, for the Ukrainian people, in the face of the Russian Federation aggression.

In this context, I mentioned Romania's multidimensional support, with an emphasis on humanitarian aid for the more than 2.9 million Ukrainian citizens who crossed our borders.

We also mentioned the facilitation of the transit of grain and other agricultural products, over 8.4 million tons of grain and other products from Ukraine.
